RETURN & REFUND POLICY - MYSTERY BOOKS

1. The "Mystery" Nature of Our Service Due to the nature of our business ("Blind Date with a Book"), we do not accept returns or exchanges based on personal preference or dislike of the selected title. Part of the experience is the surprise factor. By subscribing, you agree to receive a book chosen by our curators.

2. Damaged or Defective Items If you receive a book that is damaged or torn during shipping, we will replace it free of charge.

  • Please email us at mysterybooks.lk@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage.

  • We will send a replacement in your next box or issue a store credit.

3. The "Duplicate Book" Guarantee If you receive a book you already own, we will replace it ONLY IF you provided us with your Goodreads link or "Already Read" list at the time of purchase.

  • If you did not provide your reading history, we cannot offer a refund for duplicates.

4. Cancellations You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time before your renewal date. Once a payment has been processed for the current month, it is non-refundable, and you will receive that month's box as your final delivery.

5. Payment Method Notice For uninterrupted subscriptions, we recommend using a Credit Card. If using a Debit Card, please ensure your bank allows recurring online payments to avoid service disruption.
